Surprising pasta recipe ideas

Nothing more Italian than pasta of course. And indeed we have a lot of Italian surprising pasta recipes in this category. But not solely. We have also delicious recipes with Greek and German pasta types.

In the Italian range you might love a delicious Sicilian tuna pasta or Tuscan linguine. Or, probably most surprising of all, did you ever have cinnamon butter gnocchi? A typical carnival recipe from the North of Italy.

In Greece we have Orzo, or kritharáki as they call it. This is the little pasta that looks like rice. You may love a vegetarian Orzo soup or Mediterranean oven chicken with Orzo.

And also the South of Germany has its own special pasta types. Here we are talking about Schupfnudel and Spätzle. Difficult to translate in English. You might love Königsberger Klopse (German meatballs) with Spätzle or a typical German stew with pointed cabbage and Schupfnudel.
