Clean and roughly chop the following ingredients: tomatoes, apple, onion, gherkins, ham.
Melt the butter in a pan.
Puree the ingredients for the sauce in the food processor: tomatoes, apple, onion, gherkins, ham, capers, butter, cayenne pepper, melted butter, salt and tomato paste.
The cooking part
Preheat the oven to 200°C.
Grease an oven dish with some olive oil.
Place the cod fillets in the dish.
Divide the sauce over the cod in the ovenproof dish.
Place the casserole in the oven and let it cook for 15 minutes.
