    The best surprising.recipes from 2019

As every year, we start the new year with an overview of the previous year. During 2019 a lot has changed and been innovated on surprising.recipes. We switched to a new layout with the Receptar theme for example. I like it a lot, as it puts the picture in the center, not unimportant when it comes to food. the eye is also eating with us. I also try to keep the posts very focussed on the recipe, because that is what it is all about after all.

In addition I started using the recipe cards of WPRM recipe maker from Bootstrapped ventures. This is by the way a Belgian software provider, which is of course a bonus.

A third innovation, actually more an experiment, is the activation of Adshares, a blockchain driven advertising platform. For my job I keep an eye on a lot of technical innovations. The best way to gain some experience and understanding for blockchain is applying it on myself. Financially it is not a big hit (yet), but as explained before that was not the primary goal. the adoption is primarily in the crypto and blockchain world, so there are few specific advertising campaigns for foodblogs (although I saw a few fellow foodblogs). For interested advertisers, understand this as your chance to gain cheap visibility. If interested, you can always contact me 😉

But enough delivered, you are here to see recipes! So here are the top 10 2019 on surprising.recipes.
